3D Gummi Person for $65
For only 6,000 yen, or roughly $65, it will take a 3D scan of your body, which is used to create a mold for the gummi stuff....The gummi-you (or me, but hopefully, you) was rolled out for a holiday called White Day, which is basically Japan’s second Valentine’s Day — women give presents on Feb. 14, and guys give them on March 14, and go figure it’s the guys who consider “tiny version of me made of gross candy” to be a really romantic gift. Or maybe it’s just the ladies who want to gnaw their boyfriends’ heads off.
I want a jello-shot version of one of these for my funeral. No one leaves until it has been devoured.

Jerky Panties!
Dried meat makes these edible Paleo panties a tasty treat. This valentines day give your significant other a truly unique gift.
100% edible and 100% meat, they are so easy to make a cavemen could do it!
Leave it to Instructables to set up a good omnomnom holiday. That sounds dirty.

Downwards. Declining. Plummeting. Goodbye.
Against adulthood: But that’s not quite right. In my mind—hell, in my own life—what’s happening isn’t just the delayed onset of adulthood. It’s the refusal of adulthood entirely. It’s not failure to thrive. It’s an awareness that thriving kind of blows. Like almost everything in life, “adulthood” turns out to be the exact opposite of what we’re told it is.
If not recycling or driving an SUV is farting in the proverbial elevator, having a kid is pushing the “emergency stop” button, dropping your pants, and spraying diarrhea onto everyone’s shoes—metaphorically speaking.
I mean, there’s a reason they call it settling down, and really, that little phrase says it all. If they just called it “settling,” that would still get the point across—you could do better, you’re choosing not to—but they tacked “down” on there, just to be absolutely clear about the trajectory you’ve taken. You’re settling, down. Downwards. Declining. Plummeting. Goodbye.
Ok, so there is a bunch in this editorial that I don't agree with, but you have to admit, being an adult really sucks sometimes, and the way this guy dissects it has a certain charm. Plus, he is an excellent user of words.

NPR Voices
How NPR personalities sound to artist Gaelen Kelly.
I really love Diane Rehm, Kai Ryssdal, and Carl Kasell. They completely fit my idea of what they should look like.

Law & Order: UK - Lessons in British Justice
I have never watched Law & Order, but I found this amusing. Plus, you have Apollo from Battlestar Galactica and Martha Jones from Doctor Who as characters. Wonderful assessment of a show; I am sure the same could be done for lots of shows. Better than whatever montage of that dude taking off his glasses and making bad puns any day.

Blood Drive
Activision today announced Blood Drive, a new vehicular-based, zombie-slaying title that pits cars against waves of the undead as part of a TV game show being filmed in a Las Vegas-inspired desert city

2010 Bulwer Lytton Award
For the first month of Ricardo and Felicity's affair, they greeted one another at every stolen rendezvous with a kiss--a lengthy, ravenous kiss, Ricardo lapping and sucking at Felicity's mouth as if she were a giant cage-mounted water bottle and he were the world's thirstiest gerbil.
--Molly Ringle, Seattle, Washington (2010 Winner)
Given annually for the worst first sentences of a novel, and this is definitely a winner.

Fujitsu finally makes the list
Major corporations downloading the 100 million Facebook pages off Bittorrent. Including Fujitsu, somewhere in then top largest 60 companies.
Yes, I have been pretty down on my company lately. I'm in the epicenter of a soon to happen quake of implementation of a new system, and it has been hard going trying to bring the impact down as much as possible. But overall, I've had a good time of it at this company compared to some other jobs I've had, and while there is a multitude of things to complain about now, hopefully this will change in the future. That said,I really think there are a ton of people at my job that complain for no reason other than to hear themselves complain, or that they don't understand they are not being asked to do too much work, as they get paid for it. So, in general, this rather makes me laugh, that now all of the wonderful whining and complaining is available publicly, and while it probably is some peon downloading it, I can't help but wish it were the new CEO, and preferably one with a vengeance for anti-company information.
Mostly just for the comedic effect.

Credit Card Concierge
How to Make Visa Obey Your Every Desire: The Credit Card Concierge Experiment
This is fantastic. Written by John Hargrove, author of Spank the Monkey, about how one man used the included perk of a concierge service to make them look up the most inane things ever. Great read.

Point #1: It is physically impossible to destroy anything created directly by God.
Point #2: Pollution only has a noticeable impact on health or the environment in large, visible doses.
Point #3: The Government has no business interfering with Business. Largeleft-leaninggovernments are corrupt.
Point #4: Global Warming is a Socialist-Communist plot.
Point #5: Warm means not cold.
Point #6: Scientists don't agree about anything.
Point #7: Al Gore is using this as a way to make money.
Nuclear and Oil companies lie about the safety of their wares as a way to make moneyNoPe.
Point #8: Why would rich people want to destroy the world? They live here, too, dumba$s.
Point #9: You can't change my mind with any amount of evidence. See Point #1.

Sanity Check
So my company is transitioning to Oracle and while they are developing the system we have been placing bugs we find in an online program so the team can process changes.
Today, evidently, a new status was created. I'm not sure if this is meant for the Oracle team or meant towards me, both seem valid.

AKA People Are Idiots
So maybe I'm a but behind on seeing this, possibly because I'm not a big fan of Facebook and never bother to sign in. A completely separate website writes an article about how Facebook wants to start being the log in for several other websites, such as Digg and Hulu, and all of these complete morons start trying to log into Facebook through RWW. The wonders of the internet age, when not bookmarking or realizing that you have to type in the website you are desiring to visit through the URL bar instead of using Google to find everything you need. Priceless.
