Boring Musical Snobbery Entry

The following was one my Amazon recommendations tonight for music. The thing that ius really confusing me is that if you look through this list, there is a firm theme here of horrible indie bands that are completely my dorky style. Until the one choice, I cannot wrap my head around, bolded and linked below.

more and more i agree there should be a meeting of the minds. . . as you saw on my recent post, we share some musical tastes.

a friend just gave me bonnie prince billy (3 of them) and fleet foxes. also a ton of wilco, which i should have had a while ago.

what about my morning jacket? or lambchop?

not super the same, but have you heard david mead, or gus? they are both on the pop side, but you may like them.

and i like how royksopp made it in there with the rest of them - sorta an odd band out, i think.

sidenote - i just picked up m.ward's newest album (long story involving a defective used cd) - not bad, but not awesome. i think a greatest hits would be the best bet for an average listener, though some of his songs are pretty good.

never was a fan of my morning jacket. and the vocalist for lambchop really bothers me. they kinda just annoy me. really the list is missing quite a few bands i prefer but they did not pop as choices.

royksopp is always on any list, even though i don't care for them. amazon has some issues with their recommendations it seems.
